Gay Kiss - BBC One soap EastEnders is under fire again,
after 145 complaints about Tuesday's episode, in which
Christian Clarke (John Partridge) and his new boyfriend
Lee Thompson (Carl Ferguson) kissed.
The
scene saw the pair lock lips as Dot Branning (June
Brown) walked by, and prompted several messages from
viewers who deemed the snog a step too far.
Writing
on the Points Of View message board, one viewer said:
"I am appalled by the display of homosexual kissing
before the watershed (9:00pm) shown on EastEnders.
This is disgraceful whilst young children are watching
and sets the wrong example."
In
Response the BBC issued a statement saying:"We
approach our portrayal of homosexual relationships
in the same way as we do heterosexual relationships."

of Christian with his shirt off!
