Love You Phillip Morris Offiical Trailer. An upcoming
2009 film based on the real life events of con artist
and impostor Steven Jay Russell. While incarcerated,
Russell (Jim Carrey) fell in love with his cell mate,
Phillip Morris (Ewan McGregor).
After Morris was released from prison, Russell escaped
from prison four times in order be reunited with Morris.
McGregor
has stated the film to be in his own words, "a
gay prison romance story".
