Dream
Boy - Based on the novel by Jim Grimsley, "Dream
Boy" chronicles the relationship between two
gay teenagers in the rural south in the late 70's.
Adapted to film by James Bolton it has been seen on
the gay film festival...
circuit this summer and won the OUTFEST award for
best writing.
Nathan
(Stephan Bender) (best known for his portrayal of
a young Clark Kent in Superman Returns) is a quiet
shy boy who would like to escape from his abusive
family. He fantasizes about a relationship with Roy
(Maximillian Roeg), the boy next door and his school
bus driver.
Nathan
admires Roy's body on the bus and gradually the two
boys start talking. Their relationship develops and
becomes sexual.
Nathan
starts hanging out with Roy and his friends, Randy
(Owen Beckman) and HOTTIE Burke (Randy Wayne).
They
all go away together on a camping trip where they
find an abandoned plantation. Nathan and Roy are discovered
in the house having oral sex by Burke and Randy.
Then TWO very different endings play out.
