Wiggle Show - Wiggle 16 Backstage. Vancouver's underground
wig and headdress fashion extravaganza. Each year
artists, salons and models make wigs out of anything
you can imagine and wear them in front of an adoring
audience...
This
year Wiggle Sweet Sixteen was a fundraiser for A Loving
Spoonful, a charity that makes nutritious meals for
people living with HIV AIDS.
The
creator, Michael Venus (and his drunken alter-ego
Cotton) have been organizing Wiggle every year since
he/she was 19. The show started in Windsor, Ontario
in 1994 and moved to Vancouver, BC with the House
of Venus in 1996.
