"Taking Toronto" - Gregory and Rachel reunite
and make big plans for the city. Arta takes care of
business for Défilé while Gregory and
the girls deal with an unexpected visitor while out
for drinks. Gregory Gorgeous' new reality-based web
series... based on "The Hills" that is.
Who
is Gregory Gorgeous? He's like a functional Chris
Crocker with supportive parents and gold card.
Gregory
started as a precocious tween boy doing beauty tutorials
and comedic video blogs on youtube. His most popular
video is his
"morning hair routine"set to an old
Katy Perry song. Just two and a half years later his
flamboyant gender bending persona has gotten him 90000
subscribers and 10 million video views. He has also
caught the eye of the cosmetic industry, sending him
make-up supplies and sponsoring meet and greets with
his fans in Los Angeles and Toronto. "The Avenue"
follows Gregory as he leaves his parents
House on Mississagua Road with the home gym and
moves to a condo on Avenue Road to start school at
the University of Toronto.
In
the premiere episode we meet the cast and have some
awkwardly staged moments with Dillon, a new friend
at school and some "drama" with Derek in
the bar.
The
Avenue is produced by Fisher/Morris Productions—a
production company founded by Scott Fisher and Jacob
Morris, graduates of Toronto's Ryerson University's
Radio and Television Arts Program.
