Feast of Stephen by James Franco. A short clip of
James Franco's student film that won the Teddy Award
2010 at the Berlin International Film Festival. The
short is based on a poem by the same title, written
by american poet Anthony Hecht.
The
poem stayed with James Franco since he was fifteen
when he read it for the first time.
Stephen
watches a group of boys playing basketball. The look
in his eyes betrays his sexual interests. When the
boys realize, he becomes a victim of their homophobia.
Or does it only seem so?
