Y, a film that's being touted as Bollywood's answer
to Brokeback Mountain, is being released in Indian
cinemas last weekend. It's the first movie in the
country to feature a male homosexual kiss.
Its
release comes a year after activists successfully
repealed the criminalisation of gay sex in India.
But the film is being criticised by religious groups
who say its subject matter is "not natural".
